What's to come?
Two of my friends, Deann and Chris, threw my first Baby Shower for me at work. That was on April 16th. It was nice to finally take a moment to focus on the sweet aspects of having a baby, the little jumpers, the tiny socks, the adorable hats we can make him wear. As opposed to thinking about the 2 am feedings, lack of sleep, and these "blowouts" people keep talking about. I have never experienced a baby "blowout", but if any of you remember the "$iht taco" story about my cat...I assume it's a lot like that. And we made it through that just fine with a few napkins, a stop by the side of the road, and a bath to a very sad, scratchy kitty.
Little Successes
So I have been going to the Dr. every two weeks for about a month and a half now. And last night was the first time that I only gained one pound.
Thank God.
Like I said...Little Successes.....

Week 32 -Some catching up to do
Ok, So I am 32 weeks pregnant with little Baby Bomburg, as he has been fondly nicknamed, and it's about time I start some sort of posting. Thank you to everyone who checks in here, it means a lot to us to have your support through this new and exciting chapter in our lives. Hopefully this Blog will keep everyone up to date on everything going on with Scott and I up until the big day, and of all the super cute things that we can only imagine that Baby Grayden will be doing once he breaks into the world.
Thanks for checking in and I will try to make these postings as fun and interesting as possible.

Feeling Guilty

Ok, So here's where I admit that I am feeling a little guilty about this pregnancy. I have to admit that I have been having it pretty easy. No nausea, no morning sickness, no aversions to any foods, no cravings for pickles & ice cream, all-in-all I have been feeling just great. Ok, well I have had a little stuffy nose the entire time, but I have a feeling that I'd be slapped by other pregnant women if I tried to compare my stuff nose to their puking morning, noon and night. Oh, and for awhile there my sense of smell was a little better, nothing grossed me out per se, I just had a heightened sense of smell. So I guess if you combine my heightened sense of smell with the fact that I am growing human life, I think you can basically compare me to a Superhero. I'm growing life, What's your power?
