Happy Earth Day

"There are too many trees and sticks" says my boy on Earth Day. *Sigh* Well, at least I can be assured he won't become a hippie.

Grayden says to my belly. It was so darn cute I didn't have the heart to tell him it was the pizza that I just had for dinner.

Big boy

Grayden is officially on his way to becoming a big boy. He was moved to his big boy bed about a month and a half ago and he has also been using the potty for about 2 months, though not perfectly, but pretty darn great. Way to go kiddo- we are so proud of you!

A little behind

OK, like six and a half months behind, since that's how far along I am with little Evelyn. (see above). Isn't she beautiful? We're delighted that she's coming and that Grayden will be a big brother. I could say he's delighted too, but I still don't really think he knows what's coming. The expected due date is May 22, as long as everything goes as planned.

Did you know that you're actually pregant for 10 full months? But they never want to tell you that, and I don't know why that little secret hasn't slipped out, I think it's so they don't freak out the women. But a perfect pregnancy would come to term at 40 weeks, (hint, hint, that's 10 months), going to 42 weeks is very rare and not recommended, and a baby is technically premature at 37 weeks. So there you are at 10 months, with all the lovely aches and pains to go with it. At least I am not an elephant, they gestate for like 22 months.
